This begged the question: how can I mirror my external iOS device onto my Mac? In this post, I’ll show you a quick and easy way to do this with QuickTime Player so you can get a result similar to the below image. Well, the Capture service needs to be used on physical iOS device because we need a physical iOS device for the Socket Mobile scanner to connect to via bluetooth. You might be thinking, just use a simulator. In order for the code along to be demonstrated effectively, I needed to be able to show what the app looked like on an iOS device. I went over how to install and import the pub package and how to implement in your Flutter app. Part of the webinar consisted of a code along to demonstrate our newly added CaptureSDK support for Flutter. The webinar went great and while I was a bit nervous presenting for the first time, it was an exciting and positive experience. If you didn’t get a chance to join but want to watch the recording, you can find it here. I recently presented at a webinar for Socket Mobile called “How to Develop a Flutter App with Integrated Data Capture Functionality”.
